They have definitley forgot why they started. They might as well change their name because I dont ever see music on that channel. They have totally sold out!!
I understand that "America" loves drama, but come on, we all know that these shows arent even reality any more. They pick people that they know will act out and blow things out of proportion. All their shows are like really really bad Soap Operas! I hate MTV with a passion! lol

I would love to know the answer to this one myself! I remember when MTV first came out...yes, I am that old...and it was actually MUSIC TELEVISION. I am not sure why they still call it MTV! They need to change the name...any suggestions?! :)

Too many fake "reality" shows plus too many commercials make for a very dull network.

first it was because of rap, then real world, then hip hop, then road rules, then real work vs. road rules and more urban crap muzak,,, then finally more brainless "reality" shows and finally no videos,,,

The main reason is the executives of MTV forgot just WTF the "M" stands for.
