A simple target game.
It will improve co-ordination, promote sharing and introduce rules.
String a piece of cord between two walls (or fences), make sure that it is above head height. Fix a tennis ball to another string and attach this to the cord. Repeat with a second ball . The aim of the game is to strike the other ball. This is about 3rd grade understanding. Invent some rules. Score on a chalk-board, etc.

I had to do one of these too. I had a few ideas. one of the ones i didn't use was the under table garbage can. You take a regular table like a foldable one maybe it could be any table you want. and you drill a hole in the middle of the table put a trash can in the hole. and its you built in garbabge can. Or if you don't feel comfortable drilling a hole in the table. One of my othr ones was the one step cake cutter you buy one of thse round wooden things that you use for sewing and put wires going across the wooden circle. Good Luck.
