I liked Highlander a lot. and Highlander 2 where the immortals came from the planet Zeist stunk.
I really like the Highlander series with Adrian Paul.
I was glad when Tessa (Alexandra Vandernoot (if memory serves)) left the show. Her accent was too much for me.

Uh.......What's the question? Maybe you're trying to say that the first Highlander had a good idea, but that the other films didn't stick to the original idea? Er....Or, maybe, you want to ask how there can only be one in the end if they are born immortal?
I think people shouldn't look at Highlander as a whole. Look at it one movie(or show) at a time....and enjoy. It's just supposed to be fun to watch a bunch of guys running around with swords and cutting eachother's heads off.

The first highlander movie was great! #2 sucked so bad that when they went to make a third they just tried to pretend #2 had never happened. and Yes it has no continuity, because if indeed Connor Mccloud had truly won the "prize" in the first movie then there would be no more immortals. Hollywood often does that though just to milk a cash cow.

Personally, I liked the one sorcerer guy who could shapeshift. I think that was in part 3. He reminds me of Shang Tsung from Mortal Kombat, come to think of it.
But, otherwise, yeah, part 2 was probably one of the best.
