Sorry I now realise I added -ed by accident. I've used loads of words with -ed today. So:
Have you ever bit your pen or pencil til it's not worth keeping because you are stressed?

I used to. I'm sure that if your at that stage over stress, like I was, it's time for a little management. It really helped me. I learned that there were alot of other things I was doing too because of stress that I wasn't even aware of. After some stress management though, I've ben pencil biting free for 10 years this May.

I don't do it out of stress, it's more like an addiction - like smoking. I don't think about it, I just chew on the end - or the middle of a pencil. Orally fixated is what the psych people would call it.

I don't get stressed anymore because nothing or no one is worth making you feel that way, I count to ten very slowly while clenching my fists and taking a few deep breaths, the more people see you are stressed the more they will put you in that position, don't let them grind you down.

Not because of stress. I'm just a habitual pen chewer. I don't even realise I do it until bits of plastic start breaking off in my mouth.

Yes. When I was in grade school I chewed on my pencils so long they gave me splinters when I wrote with them. I still chew on my pens, sometimes they break in my mouth, eewwww!

Yep...I even busted a pen in my mouth once b/c I kept chewing and not even realizing what I was doing
