What is the size to use for guy-wire ,on a utility pole?

It depends on the height of the pole, this distance to the next pole etc. The local utility will have a standard for steel guy wire size, type of anchor etc. for your area. Its best to check with them

Depends on the size wire and what kind of wire. If you are running overhead wire it usually will come with it's own.
