That is utter and complete BS.
However, you should be addressing these type of questions to your doctor during your regular prenatal checkups.
You are having regular prenatal checkups?

That is not true at all I had sex during my first pregnancy all the way threw it with no problems my son is now 1 1/2 and beautiful. I am now 19 weeks pregnant with our second and had sex all the way up till just last month when I was told I had plesentaprevea (where the plesenta sits over the cervix) and was advised not to at that time only because they worried that it may cause bleeding and kill the plesenta and then starve my child I have another ultrasound on the 22nd to make sure this is better but unless your doctor has said you can't because of a medical reson like mine it is ok to have sex still. Congrats on the pregnancy.

It's not a great idea to get pregnant within 3 months after a miscarriage or birth because your body needs some time to recover and your chances of miscarriage are higher. Sex after 6 weeks, without the intention of getting pregnant, should be just fine provided you are healed from the birth and nothing is hurting.
Sex during your pregnancy is just fine provided doc hasn't advised against it due to some complication.

Hiya. I havent heard anything like that. As long as you are careful and gentle you should enjoy your sex life all through your pregnancy. You may even be gifted with a high of pregnancy hormones making you want it more! The baby is well protected in their own room and isnt aware :) I have heard that when a woman gets a rush of an orgasm the baby benifits by the highs of it. Although that is only what i read the other day. If doctors advise against sexual activity then there is a good reason (like preventing preterm labour or placenta/cervx problems perhaps for e.g).

The only time your not suppose to have sex during pregnancy is if your advised not to by your doctor or midwife. No it;s not true....it will not cause a miscarriage!!! I am 21 weeks pregnant and my husband and I had sex almost every-night when I was early pregnant and myself and the baby are perfectly fine!!!! So don't worry.....enjoy sex while you can, b/c when that baby comes you'll be to tired to get down!!!

This is not true. Unless your doctor has told you you are high risk then you have nothing to worry about. Actually have sex now because the bigger you get the more uncomfortable it is to have sex. They even say that sex is good for the baby.

That is not true at all! Sex is safe for you and the baby, unless your doctor has told you otherwise, such as if you are a high risk pregnancy. But most likely you are fine!

unless ur doctor has informed you that u are high risk, then its completely safe to have sex all throughout ur pregnancy. but if ur worried, try to keep it very gentle. no rough ness or anything. if u bleed or spot afterward, call ur doctor. they might put u on bedrest adn tell u no sex. but that doesnt mean u will miscarriage. i wouldnt worry about sex causing a miscarriage

that is not true. the only time you can not have sex is if you have a high risk pregnancy or you are bleeding. If you are unsure of anything talk it over with your dr, but as long as everything is going well you can have sex up until your water breaks.
