Some things I see it justified for...for example, medications. I do not see dumping shampoo into a dogs eyes every day justifiable though. What is wrong with using tried and true ingredients? Companies want to experiment with chemical after chemical and put it into things we use on our body...its terrible.

Well the way that I think about it, it is either the product is tested on some lab animal like a rat or something that is breeded for the purpose or they can test a new product on you. If there is something wrong with it, I would much rather have the animal tested than to risk a human life which is much more precious. Why do we care about testing some products on animals when they have no soul???

I think animal testing is wrong, the animals dont get any say in it, they just have to be stuck in cages poked and proded every day, needles stuck in them and given injections and god knows what other ways they torture them. It does bring some benefits to humans but i would much prefer to by a product that i knew had not been tested on animals. I think the way some of the anmals are treated is discusting, they might not be as intelligent as us but for gods sake give them a break.

I agree animal testing is cruel. The animals suffer and when they have finished with them they put them to sleep, they never know a real home or love. I think that testing should be carried out on child murderers, rapists etc.not the poor animals who wouldn't hurt anyone.

I agree!! Animals stay creatures too. people could say like "Oh, yet then then they could save hundreds of human lives" (If its drugs). yet they in no way think of correct to the animal getting harm and suffering. Thats why i merely purchase products that are no longer examined on animals. Animal finding out = a hundred% NO.

animal testing is out dated , most testing can now be done on computers , but it costs more to use computers. my belief is that child abusers, murderers etc should be used to test on , it would help if more people only used products not tested on animals , including make up, shampoo, cleaning products ,etc, the list is endless we all know that. we can make a difference if we really want to ...

I'm against animal testing because of the fact that if it happens to humans everyone starts to care and show sympathy, but with an animal, for say, a rabbit, it has no choice but to participate in testing, whereas we have a choice. i know its to further science. but I'm all for equality and caring for animals.

You know we should teach them to study better. Or maybe put them in the same class as each other not different species. Maybe they skip breakfast.

P.S. That is one wicked looking avatar. I love it.
