your way to late to claim starting the first one man rock band its been done....keller williams, xavier rudd, both use over 4 instruments at once. keller williams has a gibson looper which allows him to play a riff on one instrument and loop it the so on. xavier rudd plays guitar, slide guitar, many percussions, harmonica, didgeridoo, stomp box...

erm, good luck with that! though I kinda thought the whole idea of a one man band was to actually play all the instruments, or is that me just imagining those grey-haired guys on the street with their socks pulled up to their knees... maybe it was a dream... still, I guess it's a case of out with the old and all that. which is ultimately what music tends to be about. can I have a copy of one of your songs if it goes ahead?! ;P I'm thinking it might be a good laugh.

That is awesome, just go for it. I know a guy in California, he is the EX drummer for the band Sugarcult. His name is Ben Davis. He does his own thing now and it is great. He does all the instruments, the equipment and all that. Check him out www.myspace.com/benforrestdavis

Go for it!

But you wouldn't be the first one man rock band, but it's still a good idea!
