Hello I'm going to university next year to hopefully gain a QTS (ba) in primary teaching to work as a teacher in a primary school. I was wondering if anybody knows what other courses or tests I would have to complete to be qualified to work in California (America) as an 'elementry' school teacher as my family are going to be moving over there in the next few years and would be brilliant if i could pursue a teaching job there.
thanks so much.

Your teaching credentials would have to come from an American elementary education program, preferably from the same state where you plan to work. It is very doubtful that any coursework in education would transfer to the U.S. system. You'd be much better off getting your degree in math or science, as those are the subjects where we have a teaching shortage. After moving to the U.S., you would then get your masters degree in education.
