Spain — Electricity: 220V, 50 HZ

Punky you are mistaken. I lived in the Netherlands before I moved to Spain, where I am now, and brought all my things from there without any problem.

It is the same fitting and the same electricity.

The plug, if it has 2 round pins, will fit, but most places in Spain will have a 110 W and the Netherlands has 220 W, so it won't work and for that matter cause problems. I tried it they other way around, with a dutch appliance in Spain.

Most european sockets are uniform. If you stop by a place like Best Buy or a larger Radio Shack, they should be able to find out for you and sell you the proper attachment. That is what I did when I went to Italy. Good luck!

The one with two round poles, 2 cm apart.

We do have 220 v (ac).
