Apparently slight cramping is normal in pregnancy as the uterus expands and adjusts to allow growth for the baby, due to the increased hormone levels in your body. If however, the cramping gets severe and /or is accompanied by bleeding then seek medical advice immediately. Im 7 weeks pregnant and I have been getting mild cramping and my midwife advised me of the above. Pregnancy books are also good for general advise on symptoms. Good luck and congratulations with your pregnancy.

I am 9 weeks and just before I took the pregnancy test I felt like I was going to start my period. I felt like this for a bit after aswell so you may well be pregnant. You are better off taking a pregnancy test to find out though

I didn't have it with my first at all.

I did get it with my second, the pains lasted a few days, meaning that I didn't even bother to take a pregnancy test for ages, coz I thought I was about to come on my period.

The reason I eventually took a test was the tiredness you're experiencing along with nausea etc...

Yeah I've been tired a lot for the past couple weeks, breasts hurt in the night, stomach hurts, and been going to the bathroom a lot. So hopefully I don't have my period whent it is suppossed to come next week. You could be pregnant.

I had this in my first pregnancy, period pains, then they got really bad. I went on to have a healthy baby!!
I also had them in my second pregnancy, this time i got bleeding aswell, unfortunatly went on to miscarry. If they get too bad go to your doctor. It is quite normal to get niggly period pains at the start. Good luck!!

Yea i feel like this all the time. I am 6weeks and I constantly feel like I am going to come on but its just growing pains as your uterus stretches to accommodate your growing baby and all that goes with it.

Congratulations!

Yeah I had slight period pains, it's implantation apparently. Watch out for your boobs turning into balls of painful flesh, then you will KNOW for aure, they go all tender. Good luck, and relax xx
