I'm not sure what you mean... are we talking about the results or the duration of the procedure itself?

the treatments take about the same time (30-60 minutes each if you have your face and neck treated).

results of microdermabrasion AND chemical peels performed in-office last for a few months. that is why, after a series of treatment, you need to go to maintenance treatments one every 2-3 months.

micro derma and chemical peels at home kit are less effective: their results last only for a few weeks, that's why you need to use them almost continuously if you need lasting results.

Hope this helps,
Joanna.

Are you talking dermabrasion or "micro" dermabrasion? Dermabrasion is much more intense than "micro" and should last longer (ask your dermatologist or aesthetician). After a "series" of treatments that are relatively close (every other week or so), chemical peels and microdermabrasion should be done once every 4-6 weeks to maintain new cell regeneration, but not more than every-other week because your skin also needs time to heal.

Ask at the salon where you're going. They should be able to tell you.
