I didn't try a chemical peel but had used a botanical peel treatment for my acne scars and it worked very well for me, within three weeks the scar marks had disappeared completely and I never experienced any skin reaction at all while using it. Both are good for removing pigmentation because they increase cell turnover.They work best when used in conjunction with Hydraquinone or yeast extract which break the pigment into smaller pieces.
