I'm looking for an external hard-drive that has a SD slot that I can store my digitla photos and video on. Is there anything like this? I wanna bring this device with me to Italy and not bring a computer.

I'd suggest purchasing some sort of MP3 player that also allows for sharing data files loaded on to it as well. Anything from a 2-4GB USB memory stick to a full blown 80GB player/viewer sounds like it will work. I don't believe a device is made that is both portable and inexpensive that will be an Hard Drive and have a slot for the SD card. I'm assuming you want to put photos from a camera safely on it an Hard Drive.

Yeah, OfficeMax has one made by SmartDisk, you just stick the memory card in, and it empties the card onto the hard drive. the 40 gig model says $149 on the website, but it's $119 at the store itself last time I looked.

No external hdd has sd slot option or what you can buy is that a thumb drive its very easy or buy an sd card reader
