I recently bought another mobo and the specs for it says this Supports ATX12V power supply only!
i also know it needs a 20 pin power supply.

So which power supplies do i choose from? can i put any power supply i want as long as its a 20 pin? i know nothing about pwer supplies. someone please xplain what i need to know. thanx.

I may not have answered specifically in my last post.
Even if you did buy a 24 pin, they still work on a 20 pin, any powersupply in the link I sent you will work.....
When you buy a 24 pin, its 2 pieces, so if you have only a 20 pin board, you just dont connect the smaller, extra 4 pin adapter. Any "ATX" powersupply will work

300watts and up will do just fine...

If you not going to use a lot of fans and Graphics cards most any will work. Even with a SATA Hard Drive you may not need a SATA power cable if the Drive have both power connections. As stated 24 pin connector will break off to a 20 pin. 350-400 Watt probably fine. IF, you plan on using Dual Graphics and extra fans you may want to consider 600-650 Watt. Get a good brand.

do u live in the US if u do it will be fine

20 pin power supliers are rarer than others well i hope this helps
