This question makes very little sense honey, but from what I gather, your boss is going to fire you for having a baby and taking time off of work. Here's the deal. With every state, there is a family/medical leave act, that allows you a certain amount of time to be off of work for something such as this without fear of losing your job. Even if it is a temp job...it is a job and he can't do that. He has to have probable cause to fire you. Having a baby is not probable cause.

Why is it his business what type of delivery you have? All he needs to know is that you will be going out on an approved pregnancy/medical leave...if you happen to need a c-section then that's the way it goes. I'm sure your state has some guidelines you can look up on the internet. The U.S. government link to the info is below. On another note...try to be the best at your job and do everything right so that even if he has to hire someone when you're gone, he'll want you back because he knows that you can do the job well. Good luck, mama :-)

You really do need to be honest about this. Obviously the chance for him to find out the truth is great. And after you have the baby you won't be able to go back as quickly after a c-section and he would be forced to replace you anyway. Why not tell him after your next doctor's appointment that your doctor believes there is a chance that you will have to go by c-section (especially since they will have to schedule it). Talk to him and see if there is anyway that they could make do with another temp until you recover from the c-section sufficiently to return. Point out that it is usually easier to have someone already experienced at the job than to have to train someone from scratch. Good luck and God Bless.

If you are a temp then you have no rights to the job for any reason. If they want you back when your done with your maternity thing then that is up to them. That's why companies hire temps. No overhead, medical, or right to work issues.

This is kind of a sticky sitch. I know the employers have to guarantee your job if you are working for them full-time with a pregnancy or other FMLA issue, but since you're a temp, I don't think he's in the wrong here. Talk to someone in HR.

You told him the truth??? well then you can go on leave and if they dont take you back then you file for discrimation. Just because women have babies doesn't mean you fire them/. I know legally if you are hired and have pasted the 90 day period then they have to hold your job.

You always have to tell the truth. Come on, you are about to become a mother and you have to be a better example than you are currently being.
Good luck!
