According to the web site below, it was an American actor Matthew McGrory (May 17, 1973 – August 9, 2005) who grew to the height of 7 foot 6 inches (2.28 metres) due a hormonal condition known as acromegaly.
He held several titles in the Guinness Book of World Records, including the world's largest feet not caused by Elephantiasis - size 29½.
