Yes, about once a month when my mother-in-law and I go out to lunch. We have a regular waitress where we go and she knows not to rush us 'cause my m-i-l leaves her a BIG tip. It seems mom and I never run out of things to talk about and we really enjoy one another's company. So,we don't really CROSS the line of loitering, we have taken up permanent residence on the other side of it.

So much that in the diner we used to go all the time when I was a teenager, they finally came up with a 'Rules of Conduct' card that they laid out on every table...

Sure...late night at Denny's or one of those all night diners...stay for hours just drinking coffee or tea (refills free)
