Where did that notion come from? He never owed anything to the folk community - didn't promise to spend his life chanting in ballrooms. Maybe he could have been nicer to Joan Baez, but he charted his own course - how is he a sellout?

OMG. He's not. Look at some of the crap that goes on in the music industry. He has changed over the years because that is what people do. If Bob wanted to sell out, the world would know. He is a genius either way. He could have his face and his music on everything. But he doesn't.

Bob Dylan is the opposite of a sellout. He changed his tune whenever he felt like it.
