No, they stopped in 1990.
They've also invested significantly in alternatives to animal research which are now used by many other companies.

Revlon do not test their products on animals, nor do they commision such tests to be done (however this only applies to nonrequired animal tests - depending on the laws of the country you are in some tests are required by law, but Revlon's stance is that they will not conduct any test that is not required by law).

Apparently 1989, Revlon and Avon became the first major U.S.companies to end testing their products on animals. Strangely Revlon's web site makes absolutely no reference to this.

"Avon was the first company to stop testing their products on animals. Major companies like Boots, Yardley and Revlon have also made claims that they have stopped testing their products on animals."
"In 1990, cosmetics giant Revlon became one of the first industry heavyweights to swear off all animal testing."
Then I found another site that says, "The following companies either openly use animal-tested chemicals, or fail to demonstrate that the finished product and the ingredients they use have not been tested on animals since a fixed cut-off date." And Revlon was on that list.
Hmmm I'm confused too.

I don't guess so.
Revlon Cosmetics was one of the first large companies to fund research for alternatives with a $750,000 contribution to the Rockefeller University in 1979. Several organizations such as the John Hopkins Center for the Alternatives to Animal Testing (CAAT), the International Foundation for Ethical Research, the Cosmetic, Toiletry, and Fragrance Association, and the Soap and Detergent Association followed suit and started their own programs to validate alternatives. Keep in mind that, while companies search for alternatives, animal use actually INCREASES because the old test (using animals) must be done alongside the new test (without animals) to ensure consistent results.
While animal testing is still very much in existence at large corporations such as Procter and Gamble and Lever Brothers, there are now several hundred "cruelty-free" consumer product companies. For a listing of these companies, please visit our Cruelty-Free Companies page.

Can't you do a simple Google search? Are you that lazy/computer illiterate?

I'm pretty sure that if the product does not say "product not tested on animals" then they probably do test on animals. Also, look out for "final product not tested on animals." I'm assuming that means they do in fact test...
