Further to my question yesterday when I asked if anyone hated CLUB cyclists more than me?.
Thanks to some of you for reminding me that not all are the road hogging morons that seem to be prevalent in my area. I wish to state that, I have utter respect for the normal law abiding cyclist and give this type of cyclist as much room as possible when I drive past.
This is because..... THEY DO NOT TAKE UP THE WHOLE F***ING ROAD!!! I am also a motorcyclist and even travelling with friends ....I do not hold anyone up.....ever!.
So why can't these suicidal CLUB cyclists ride in smaller groups or single file and get some respect??!. I apologise to any genuine law abiding club cyclist, but, I think even you would have to admit that the type that I described are prevalent in your area as well.
Because of these morons, I am increasingly getting closer and closer to just closing my eyes and going for the non-existant gap and sod the consequences!!
I will only hate myself later.

Here's a few thoughts for you;

1) Riding 2 or 3 abreast is not breaking the law.

2) If all those cyclists rode in single file down that country lane they would be in a long line that you would never get past. By bunching up they are giving you a fighting chance as you have far less ground to cover before you can pull in safely.

3) Surely club cyclists ride at the weekend. How can you be in so much of a rush at the weekend. Calm down and save your frustration for the rush hour.

4) Of course you don't hold people up when riding your motorcycle! You will only hold people up when you all congregate in a small country village not large enough to accommodate you all parked up. I won't comment on the suicidal tendencies of many weekend motorcyclists.
