I bought a WD 150 GB external hard drive for my laptop and I put about 30 GB of stuff and I want to delete the whole EXTERNAL hard drive and I was wondering if anybody knows how to erase it in quick sweep instead od goin in there and deleting everything one at a time.......any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Go to 'My Computer' right click on the desired drive and click 'Format' then check the 'Quick format' box and start. That's it.

If you are using an external drive, then the drive does not hold your operating system. you can simply open up my computers and you should find the drive there. Right click on the drive lettter and select delete. That will erase the drive. you can then select to reformat the drive therein.
