if you have world of warcraft bc expansion and your friends just have world of warcraft can they see what i see and can they see me

Yes, if you go visit them. They can't go to Outland or Old Hillbrad or the other new areas or play the new races or level past 60.

Yes you can meet in Azeroth, however only the one with the BC can go to the Outlands and they must be able to meet the level requirements. The only other thing they cannot do with reg. version is play a Draeni or Bloodelf.

They can see where you are in their "Friends List", however, they cannot join you in BC only areas such as Outland.
