Only if the last name is Iymthemommie.
Seriously, what do you mean by "is it okay?" Is it legal? Sure. The authorities over at vital records aren't going to reject the birth certificate. On the other hand, those authorities will roll their eyes and crack a lot of jokes....and they will not be the last. To saddle a child with a name like "Because" is cruel -- they will be teased and taunted, and, according to some reports out there, will be less likely to be hired for a job than someone with a more "normal" name.....at least, that is, until the child has his or her name changed.
If you want a name that is not going to be shared by every third person in the child's class, by all means, pick a name that is not supremely common, and (please) one that is not trendy. But pick, you know, a *name*....not a preposition.

Are you saying name the baby Because or name it something just because it was recommended? If so, I say no on both counts.

I would say probably not. They will have self esteem issues from the moment they are born into this world, and when they ask mommy, "Why was I born?", she will never be able to answer any better than just "Because." Come on, there are an abundance of really creative names that have depth to them if that is what you are looking for.

I hope you are really not serious. "Because" is going to be teased all their life, don't know if it's a boy or girl name. No it is not fine to name a baby "Because".

No, I think that is NOT ok, because other kids will make fun of him/her every single day... Your kid will suffer a lot in school, remember that kids are sometimes very mean...
Think about this, you can do a very big harm to your baby.

You can name a baby whatever you want, but think of the child when he/she goes to school, and kids make fun of him/her. If I were to have a baby, I wouln't name it "because."

You can name your child whatever you please, but I would think about the implications of that name for the duration of your child's life. I personally am not a fan of "Because" as a name, because I think they will be teased beyond measure, but that's my own opinion. Maybe you have a really awesome reason for that name that will help your child not to mind. But I'd have a REALLY good reason for it. Otherwise, it's not a good pick - really.

Are you trying to make a statement. I think it is rather odd but I have heard worse. Your child will have issues in everyday life with that name. But he or she can say "So what my parents named me Because, because they thought it was cute." Just don't do it.
