Hello, I am not pregnant, far from it, actually. Never had a boyfriend....................want to wait to have kids/etc until married.........................But, I want 6+ children and I have the names picked out. I was wondering, what do you all think of
these names? Here They Are. I want more girls than boys. Here are the names I have so far:
Boys:
Maverick Joel
Ethan Xaviar
Girls:
Cheyenne Peyton (nickname "Shy")
Abigail Josephine (nickname "Abby Jo")
Isabella Jewel (nickname "Izzy")
Skylar Nicole (Nickname "Sky")
What do ya'll honestly think of these names? I just wanted an outsiders opinion. I also like Chelyan (pronounced Shelley-Anne) Renee' for a girl.

Hello again. I appreciate everyone's opinions. I do know that we don't have a say in whether we have more girls than boys, that is just what I would prefer. I also don't believe i will change my names or the amount of kids I want, since I have had both these decisions for years. The reason I have Chelyan Renee' as a name is my mom's name is Shelley Ann, and that is a combination that is unique and I can have a middle name also. Again, I appreciate everyone's opinions.

FIrst of all, you really need to know what the last name of your children will be. Although with the names you have picked, I don't foresee any bad initial combinations such as :
Felicia Ann Turner = F.A.T.
Second, the dad does have some say on what baby gets named or does his opinion not matter?
Third, Tryndee names with Tryndee spellings get old fast.
Fourth, I have no real objection to any of your names choices, because they are YOUR CHOICE.
I do object to nicknaming a child SHY or anything else that could be considered a trait. Why tell a child from birth that she is shy. She may unconciously feel that she has to live up to it. And there goes a gregarious, outgoing girl and you end up with a doormat who is afraid of her own shadow.
Most important, remember that your child will have to go through the stage when every kid around will try to find something to pick on about every other kid around. Kids can be cruel, why hand them insults on a silver platter to hurl at your child

Well, 1., you may not have more girls than boys. We really dont have a say in things like that. 2.) I THINK IT IS AWESOME THAT YOU ARE WAITING UNTIL YOU ARE MARRIED! good girl. 3.) I'm sure after you have 1, 2, or 3 kids....you'll change your mind on the # of children you really want. ( I wanted 6 too until I got married & had 2 kids. Now, 2 is my limit!)
Anyways, Ethan Xavier is a nice name. Honestly, I dont care for Maverick.
I like the girls names that you have listed EXCEPT Chelyan Renee. Isabella Jewel would be my favorite.

I love Ethan Xavier and Cheyenne Peyton. Abigail Josephine is a little *too* dated (even though I like classical names). I do also like Isabella Jewel, and I like Skylar, but not Nicole. Chelyan is interesting, but unorthodox enough that she'll be correcting people her whole life.

Skylar and Cheyenne: these name are going to sound very dated in about 30 years. Sort of like the name "Shirley" sounds dated now.
Maverick: is a wild, runaway horse. Personally, I wouldn't want my son identified with that name
Chelyah: sounds very gimmicky. Nobody will pronounce it right (when they read it) or spell it right (when they hear it). Why not just go with Michelle Anne or Shelley Anne? If you name her Michelle, the Beatles' song can be her theme song.
I'm not crazy about Jewell. Sounds lifeless, hard and cold to me. Isn't your daughter going to be more precious than any jewell? Then don't weigh her down with a name like that.
The other names are beautiful.

Maverick Joel - NO.... my cousin had a really bad-tempered horse named Maverick so i think it sounds like a mean horse's name....
Ethan is okay, but i dont like Xavier at all how about Ethan Joel?
Cheyenne Peyton... NO. again, it sounds like a horse name, not to mention its a tribe of indians... and peyton sounds like a street name or a town name (like peyton place)
i LIKE Abigail Josephine A LOT though... i thought i wanted to name my daughter Abigail but i ended up having a dog first so thats my dogs name, 'Abi'
Isabella i like, but i hate jewel... also i dont like "Izzy" for a nickname, it reminds me of lizzards.. i'd use "Bell" "Bella" "Ell" or "Ella" for a nickname
and i HATE Skylar Nicole.... Nicole is too common and Skylar isnt a real name to me....
HATE Chelyan Renee', but at least Renee' is spelled correctly... people would always mispronounce the name "Chelyan" i read it as "Shay-lan" the first time....
No offense meant, but you did ask us "honestly" so i thought i'd be straight out with you... good luck with those future SIX kids, you'll have your hands full...

I like Ethan, Abigail, and Isabella. I like Xaviar but spelled Xavier, and I like Cheyenne but not spelled that way. Skylar sounds like a boys name. And no one will be able to pronounce Chelyan if you spell it like that. In my opinion the middle names don't really go with the first names. Once you do get married you'll have to consider whether the names sound good with your new last name. Oh and good luck getting the babies you want! I wanted more boys...so far I only have 3 girls.

I really like all of these names except for one. For the boys I like the Joel part but I think Maverick is a little bit rough. I mean I don't want to be mean or rude, but I haven't heard many people with the name Maverick and there isn't really a good nickname for that. Maybe you could switch the names so it would be Joel Maverick? I like that a lot better than Maverick Joel. Of course it's just my opinion, but that's what I think. Good Luck! =)

Well Joel is okay, but Maverick reminds me of those crappy cigarettes. Ethan Xaviar is kind of cute. Cheyenne Peyton is pretty. Abigail is a name for cows. Josephine is cute. I love Isabella Jewel and the nickname of Izzy. Skylar Nicole is okay, but please not Sky. Chelyan is different.

To complicated! Go for something simpler and you'll probubly change your mind by the time you have kids anyway.
I like Peyton as a first name and Nicole as a first name. But hate the rest especially the Jewel part. Ethan's okay but the rest is bad.
