i find it hillarious when people ask a question to the public, and get all angry about the responses because the entire public doesnt share the same opinion

Human nature. Plus many people seem to be easily offended these days.
Some people are constantly looking for things that offend them.

Because people don't use this site for it's intended purpose which is the sharing of knowlege. It has become more about self validation and shock value. It seems people would rather join together with those who feel the same way as them in order to push their own agenda instead of actually using this site in a constructive way and trying to learn about other peoples beliefs respectivly.

The type of person you are describing is a close-mind idiot. To a have an opinionated response already formulated in someone elses mind is someone who is so closed in his/her own imaginary fabricated world of pre-judgement that it takes more than just a clean mirror for one to see this in oneself. Idiocy is what gets you ticked off.

If they are normal, nice ppl, the reason for anger is usually that it is in the way the other person disagreed with them. Its not the difference of opinion, its the way its presented. When its just different, all kool and both are free to discuss it and believe as they want. But, often someone will tell you you must believe as they do or they put you down. Thats what caues so many problems in differences of opionion. As you remind yourself the right to believe as you choose, remmeber we all have that right, and noone can force anyone to believe as they do. Doesnt work.

Because people don't really want to hear other people opinion, they want to hear what they think told back to them. And then when people don't, they get all miffed and defensive because not everyone shares their opinion.
