I remember seeing a children's book maybe about 10 or 12 years ago, in a local bookstore in Colorado Springs, about a piece of fabric that was made into one garment, and when that wore out it was made into a smaller garment, and so forth, until it was gone. Also, the bottom of each of the pages in the book had a similar theme, with a mouse taking scraps of the fabric and using it. It was really cute, and I regret not buying it at the time, but now I'd like to find it. It may have had something to do with a Jewish theme, but it may also not have. It was a thin hard cover book, maybe blue in color. Wonder if anyone knows the title of the book I'm looking for, or the name of the author. Thanks for your help.

Well, I looked at that book on Amazon, Joseph Had A Little Overcoat, and the idea is right, but that's not the exact book. They said this was published in 1999, and I was in Colorado Springs from 1994-1998, so I know that's not what it was. Plus it didn't have the part about the mouse on the bottom of the pages. Thanks for the suggestion though. Any other ideas?
