My wife who is costa rican ships boxes to using a company out of North Carolina called Transportes Costa Rica. For a flat fee they take care of shipping and customs clearing. We can ship a box 24" x 24" x 18" for $160. You could find more info here http://www.producticos.com/

Take the box to the post office. If it's small and doesnt weigh much it'll be cheap.
