Poor ownership and management. Al Davis is losing it, and takes too much control. He needs to loosen it up a bit. When he hired Art Shell as HC that was the height of it. This draft year will be important in turning the corner for them.

I agree whole heartily. In fact if the Raider do win 4 games, Art Shell should be considered AFC coach of the year. Art Shell isn't a bad coach, but it wasn't Al Davis' first choice for a head coach. He wanted Ken Whisenhunt, offensive coordinator for the Steelers for the head coaching job, but was turned down to stay in Pittsburgh. Al Davis messed up big in losing out on the better coaching candiates by gambling on the one man who he wanted to have the gig. The Raider are a mess. Only the 49ers are in worse shape than this team. This team has been poorly run by Al Davis since he ran off John Gruden. They have drafted poorly. Very poorly. Their offense is abysmal. It is only going to be worse with Aaron Brooks as your starter. This was one team who should have drafted Matt Leinart but drafted for defense again instead. How desparate must you be when you are bringing in Jeff George to backup QB? LOL Let's not forget they play in a very tough conference where 11 wins may not be good enough for the playoffs.

Al Davis is senile and won't let other people run the team, even though that is what he offically hires them to do. Seriously why would anyone want Aaron Brooks? Hell I probably would have seen if I could get Kordell Stewert to come back into the NFL long before I got Aaron Brooks. Mind you I liked Stewert but how long has it been since he has played QB.

Any team that even tries Aaron Brooks at qb and makes big trades to get randy moss is probably making bad personell moves at very level, not just the headline makers like that.

They have no offensive line. They haven't had a QB since Rich Gannon got hurt and they signe Jordan as a running back and he has been a huge bust. They whoever have good receivers who don't want to be there in Blackhole because no one can get them the "damn ball"!

Al Davis is the best owner in football.the team was in the super bowl just a few years ago.Al needs to stock up on OL like he has on DBs.
