No. From Friday I'm getting Virgin for £11/month. It's way better value. The only thing I'd want Sky for are Lost and Dresden Files, but I can wait for the DVD for Lost and there's a wonderful American person whose putting up Dres Files on You Tube (ad free and two weeks ahead of the UK).
There's also the good feeling I get from knowing that Rupoert Murdoch isn't getting any of my hard-earned.

No!! What a rip off! Get freeview, it only costs a one off of about £30 for a set top box and you have hundreds of channels, try your local Argos or Curries for the best deal, Sky is just a huge rip off, when will you even have time 2 watch all the channels?!
Good Luck, Hope you make the right decision!

At least you get a choice of whether you pay for it or cancel it.With the terrestrial (BBC) you dont get that option unless you get rid of your television altogether.I have the full package with Sky (sky+ skytalk and broadband) If I get any problems with any of the services I threaten to cancel the lot and they soon sort it out

good value?! that's daylight robbery. I'm quite happy with my freeview, there's no way I'd pay that sort of money for sky, however good it is

and anyway, surely the people who can afford to pay that sort of money haven't got time to sit around watching telly all day - you'd be out working

NO WAY!!!!
Heard advert on local radio from them trying to poach Virgin Media customers!!!! Got me thinking is that why they tried to charge over the odds for 4/5 channels.
Absolutely disgusted!!!
