So i had a USB mass storage device with some imprtant work on it, but some idiot just yanked it out of the pc without disabling it first, lost all the work on it, cant format the drive, so it is useless!

That's not a question, that's a statement. And it's true. Go kick the idiot who yanked it out. Unless it was you. In which case attempt body contortion to kick yourself, or alternativly attempt emotional contortion and feel sorry for yourself and incredibly pissed off with yourself both at the same time.
Next time, try going in the drive options (i forgot where they are) and enabling that thingy which lets you yank them straight out without doing the disably thing first.
