Every woman has different experiences with heartburn in pregnancy, unfortunately it looks like raspberry tea upsets you. I know that many people are saying use gaviscon, but please make sure that it safe to take during pregnancy, check with your pharmasist before taking it. I had peppermint cordial and added warm water to it, this sometimes eased the acid, also ginger can be good for stomach upsets try ginger biscuits or lemon and ginger tea (decaffinated though). I do sympathise with you heartburn can be terrible, good luck.

I have been having terrible heartburn during my pregnancy but haven't found raspberry leaf tea gave me it.
Maybe it was a bit hot?

Raspberry leaf tea shouldn't be used until the 32nd week of pregnancy. You should find heartburn starts to ease a few weeks after that anyway as the baby moves down.

everything gives me heartburn it is taking over my life. i am drinking a bottle of gaviscon a day and drinking pints of milk.
i cant lie down as the acid comes right up and makes me sick.
i was the same with my last pregnancy and it has nothing to do with how much hair your baby has.
coffee and chocolate seem to be the worst thing to eat which is not good as i crave chocolate all the time. boo hoo

Caffeine tends to cause heartburn. Was it decaffeinated? I have always had a problem with tea. I find drinking some water (or sprite), eating something to soak it up (crackers, pretzels) and tums work.

I had really bad heart burn 2am every morning when I was pregnant and gaviscon with a glass of milk cured it.

you can get the gaviscon from your midwife on free prescription and you will get a massive bottle!!!

Also the others are right you do get heart burn if you baby has hair!!!
