My wife loves me dearly but for medical reasons, I cannot perform to her liking. I suspect she is sleeping with our sons 25 year old friend. I know this is just a fling and will pass in due time. Should I confront her or just let it play out and let things be as they are. As a person and a husband, she is very happy with me but has her needs. That's why I am not too upset about it.

Is your son as passive as you are?! Your wife is committing adultery to satiate her "need" while you are making up excuses for her. This cannot be ok with your son......its like a maury povich or springer episode! I'm appalled!

if you all have agreed to an open marriage, then you all need to discuss boundaries. Boundaries are there to keep everyone on the same page and playing "within the rules". If you are not comfortable with the affair, then you need to speak up about this issue. You are right, with the man being 25, the affair will pass... but I do wonder how it affects your son and his attitude towards both of you all?
Good luck, I think open communication with your WIFE and not the people on Yahoo may be the better solution to your problem.

If you're ok with it, it shouldn't bother anyone else (except for your son, maybe). More than likely she's just getting rid of some sexual energy. Let her know that you're aware of it so the dishonesty can be minimized. Usually when there is infidelity in a marriage, a large amount of the pain comes from the deception.

NO NO NO you should not let this pass and you should not be ok with it no matter what your condition is she should not be cheating on you...a marriage is about faithfulness trust and love and no she is not faithful no you cannot trust her because she is cheating on you and no she doesnt love you or else she woulnd be cheating on you period and especially not with someone that you know shes making you look like a fool and shes not thinkin about her son eitherwhat if your son and his friend get in a fight the first thing out of his mouth is going to be "I DID YOUR MOM" shes just wrong and dirty and doesnt love you...sorry to be so harsh but she doeesnt deserve you you can do better no matter what...good luck. PLZ dont put up with that. and of course shes happy with you shes has a husband who pays her bills and she can always just screw someone else and not care how you feel

That's real big of you. Maybe she can do something for you. A one way glass in her bedroom would allow one to be a patron of the arts as it were. Maybe a webcam, make a little money on the side. If she's that good, maybe you should get her a new car, or jewelry, she'll make that back in no time. Full on kinky is relatively rare in the era of Jesus Freaks, but it's refreshing to hear of somebody get wild enough to make a difference.

Getting divorced could ruin your family and not even necisarily be best for you if you really want to continue living with her. However, there's no way i would let this pass. If she if doing this, she is commiting a mojor sin in your relationship. Let her know you are aware of her wrongdoing.

Obviously it must bother you to some degree since you are asking this question and gaging others' opinions.
Just my opinion, but if your wife trully loved you then she wouldn't be cheating on you. I would think if she were having difficulties regarding your sex lives, then she should openly discuss that w/ you and see what can be done to improve it. There are lots of way to please a woman w/out penetration.

honestly...if you can handle it...let it play out. If you can not perform for her.. you need to allow her to do so elsewhere. Its unfortunate but if you take that away from her...that is when she will start showing hate towards you. You have to remember its just physical.. you don't love with your heart or your body or even your soul..its just a saying..You love with your mind.

I think you should confront her. The two of you married for sickness and in health. She should be faithful. If you can't have sex for medical reasons then she should understand that. There are many other things you can do to please her beside intercourse. Also, has she ever tried a vibrator?
