Snooping survey- parents and kids, please share?

Question

Whether or not it is okay to snoop in your kids' rooms, read their journals or diaries, etc, is a controversial topic. Please answer the following:

1. Do/did your parents snoop? Are you glad?
2. Do/will you snoop? Why?
3. Age group- are you a) twelve or younger, b) between 13-15, c) 15-18, d) 18-25, e)25 and up
4. Do you currently have kids?

2. yes, A lot of times kids are hurting and are too embarrassed, etc. to reach out for help. I would never use anything I found against them - I remember what it was like to be young - I just love my kids and want to make sure they are o.k.

my parents did snoop in my room. I will not snoop on my kids. it is evil and wrong. I bought a locked box to keep my journal in it to keep my dad away from it. I never trusted him.
I am 27 today and have four kids.

my mom never snooped around in my room probably because she knew she'd have a heart attack if she read what was in my diary. I have a two year old. The only thing I've found under his bed was a rotten banana

I don't have kids so I can't say. I would like to say no, but..........

My mom always went through my stuff and it pissed me off. Then when I went through her belongings, all hell broke loose.
