You can wear anything if the invitation does not say Black Tie.

Length, color, style and accessories are totally at your mercy. I think as long as the dress doesnt scream 'tramp' then you will be fine in whatever.

If you think there is a possibility you may make the wrong choice, take a wrap/pashmena with you. This way you can always cover yourself up and use the excuse your cold if you feel inappropriate.

If it doesn't say Black Tie, it isn't.

These Saturday night weddings drive me insane. Been to three.Know exactly what your asking! I just wore a dress, something I'd wear to any other time for a wedding.

Have fun!!

You can't go wrong with a cocktail dress or a simple shift-like dress (lengths should be below the knee). I wouldn't do the full length, either, because it doesn't specifically say "black-tie". You might feel overdressed.

Wear something you like. Just don't wear white. Its a wedding you're a guest, which means you can wear whatever you want. Keep it classy but sexy. The most important thing, wear something you like and that you feel good in. If you feel it is to revealing then its to revealing, if you feel its to short, then its too short. Its all about you honey!!

It does not have to be a long dress. Check out JC Penney's they have some real nice evening dresses: mid length and also long. A mid length will be nice. Have a good time.

this seems appropriot for a wedding just because it doesn't say black tie doesn't mean they want you to wear jeans and a tshirt!
Maybe they forgot about adding it. Just ask the couple if it is a black tie thing!

no it doesn't have to be a long dress. Well it depends where the wedding is and everything will help you pick out an outfit/dress.
