No not necessarily. I had severe back labor and never cramped in the back through my period, and my sister was the exact opposite. So really it can go either way. Since I have had all of my kids I do get severe cramping in my back now through my period. It's strange how that works.

Not necessarily. I had back labor and my menstral cramps are in my back a couple of days before and then my lower pelvic area one or two days during. I didn't have any "normal" contractions. Mine were all in my back but surprisingly it didn't seem that bad even though they say that is worst. Maybe I was just lucky. I was fortunate to have an extremely easy pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Good luck.

I don't know. I never had menstural pain before I had children, then had back labor with both. Now I get horrible lower back pain right before I start.
Sorry I couldn't help.

there are no guarantees that this will happen. I had cramps in the front and back. I had 2 back labor deliveries and one all in the front. the epidural was great for my last back labor.

No, it does not mean that you'll have back labor. Actually back pains during menstruation is a common symptom of PMS. So talk to your gynecologist about PMS and see if you like many women have it.....there are certain meds you can get prescribed to alleviate the pain and discomfort.

Doesnt mean you will but its possible. I had back labor and a pinched nerve. Back labor is way worse then feeling it in your tummy.

not necessarily all labors are different. i have three kids and none were the same. my first, back labor, my second full stomach labor and my third was side labor. so it varies.
