I am an artist and I want to do a series of pieces of paintings with each featuring one nostalgic item that is interesting looking. Ideas I have are things like an old fan, a drum shade lamp, an old close and play record player....etc. Can you think of other things that are from the past (40's maybe) and interesting looking? Think of your parents basement! (lol) Thanks!

I like the old kitchen appliances like old can openers, tosters, hand mixers etc. Some of the old cameras are neat looking. Check out the old radios there are some real cool ones! Sounds like a great idea, good luck with it! Oh, some of the old office items are interesting too!
