First, Neither party has "picked" any candidate at this time. The nominating conventions are not until the summer of 2008. Second, Hillary Clinton is still ahead of Obama, so he is NOT the top candidate. 3rd, Obama is NOT a Muslim. He is a Christian.

You may have noticed some people's simply show your stupidity when repeatedly it is said on this blog and who have not checked his website that Senator Obama is NOT a Muslim. I know that those who spew hate agains the Senator and others want to put fear into people's minds but don't belive them. Do your research and you will see how incorrect your assumptions are.

Because the dem.s both fear and hate a man who gets on a knee to pray (a Christian). So, would it not be a logical choice to go to the exact opposite of that spectrum? Christ warned that there would be others to come and claim to be prophets of God, but that they would be deceivers and liers. Christ taught "Love the God" and "Love thy neighbor." And then lo and behold, some 600 years later, along came Mohammad. Claimed himself to be a prophet of God and, per chapter nine of the Qu'ran, preached that anyone who follows him, should not only denounce Judaism and Christianity, but should kill them all as well. Hmmm, "Love thy God" and "Love thy neighbor" VS Kill them all and let "allah" sort them out. And what religion did our founding fathers pactice and lay foundation for this nation? And for therecord, he "became" a Christian, so he could run for office and not be accused of being a muslim... A Wolf in sheep's clothing by any other name. And a "blog?" Please, I only read credible and verifiable news sources... Who'd have thought? 8>)

Barak Obama, (junior, by the way) is a Christian. I'd be proud to have him as the Democratic Party's candidate for President, should he win the nomination. I'd hate to see the American dream that any kid could grow up to be president turn out to be just a myth.
