I don't think the war in Iraq has had anything to do with the diminishing of the middle class, though I would agree that the format of our economy is to blame. Though there is a lot of competition in big business, they all seem to act as one big monopoly, which allows them to hike prices and make a killing off of the middle class: the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. To fix this we need a president to take up Teddy Roosevelt's calling and bust up these trusts, restoring smaller corporations that would create more competition and better prices all around.

I'm tired of this Gap between rich and poor, the "dwindling middle class" bologna. The Gap has grown because the there is more money flowing. The Poor aren't getting poorer, rich are getting richer sure. But those are entrepreneurs who are becoming richer, "New Money" in a sense. Where does "New Money" come from? The Middle Class.
What we need to do is completely overhaul the tax system. Do you really think the business owners and corporations are really the ones who are paying the taxes? No it's us, the people who purchase their goods and services. Taxes are just another expense to them. Just like taxes are an expense to us. How do they counteract expenses? By increasing income, increasing prices. Corporate, and other taxes on business are regressive. Ultimately so is the income tax.

Step 1) Impeach Dubya and Dick

Step 2) Either Bring The Troops Home Now, OR - Actually Support the Troops By Giving Them The Numbers, Equipment, And Armor Necessary To Succesfully Complete Their Mission, And Then Get Them The F**K Out Of There.

Step 3) Now that we aren't spending hundreds of billions of dollars to make halliburton stockholders into millionaires, invest that same money into education and job training.

Step 4) Implement a fair tax system where the poor and middle class aren't having to shoulder the brunt of the tax debt while the rich get to write everything off.

Step 5) Round up all the people responsible for not doing this in the first place and put them in the Hague.

Your premise that the middle class is demolished is faulty to say the least.

Relying on congress to do something for you also shows your political tendencies.

"The Communist formula for effective action is a simple one. It may be summed up: Discover what people want, promise it to them, and go to work to get it for them that you may come to power over them. This is the Communist program of action in any situation." http://www.schwarzreport.org/yct/04ycttc.htm

The Democrats are looking for what you want, keep asking them for their help and surely you will get it one day, as for me I prefer to not have their "help" for ANYTHING.

To the naysayers, this person is right. The gap between rich and poor has never been wider.

Lets end the regime next year, and concentrate our efforts AT HOME rather than in the oil rich Middle East.

Bush = Oil Man = War in Iraq/Iran ... hmmm.

It's your own responsibility to research your own socio-economic circumstance and nobodyelse! TRUST YOUR GUT! Karl Marx is not original thinker, he is a FRAUD & CHEAT! A FAKER with a diety quality! IRAQ is going on their own and it is hard for people to be independent and liberated! The same is for you if you are slave to DEMOCRATS and their MARXIST OPINIONS!
