How can I find the date of marriage on someone online for free?

I'm trying to access some kind of marriage record database but all the ones I've come across require you to pay. Does anyone know where I can find the MARIAGE DATE on someone? I need a site that has info available for free.

Public Records at the local town hall of the town they were married in. that is the only way you will get it for free.
