I like the Moron pronunciation, too.lol
I dated a guy from England, though, and he was a scholar and said the correct pronunciation was "Ox-Em-o-ron.
I guess it's like I say Po-Tah-to and you say Po-Tate-o.
Good luck.

Jesus did no longer practice scripture on my own. and many what hes mentioned and did is a factor of our -- Catholic -- unwritten history. the hot testomony isn't a transcript of each 2d of Jesus's life or ministry. this is the story of the fondation and early formation of the catholic churhc. The Gosples are the speivifc trainng that Jesus first bishops recived at his hand -- He hadn alternatives them trains them appoints a frontrunner, ordains him is crucified rises form the ded and ordains the the rest. Int he interim instuting the scaraments. The gosples are greater and description highlighten the main iimportant spects of Jesus's undertaking which replaced into to got here across His kingdom in the worldwide, which includes teh instution of the sacraments. UNderstood in this contxt sripture makes desirable experience. outdoors of this context this is senseless and all kinds of errenous notions and missunderstandings are produced. This si why -- the context -- this is truly complication-free for a catholic to talk a protestant particualrly the sola -scrupture or "fundies" becasue all of us be attentive to the trutht and the real context so we've the certainty with us, and can easliy straineout fake techniques brough approximately by ability of each indiviudal inperpting the owrds for themselves. So no no longer something must be extra fro the certainty Jesu gave scripture this is properly suited and positively exalted palce yet he did no longer exhibit the thought of sola sripture or he could have wrote himslef, he could have spent his time writng and not fouodning he church. Sola scripture is a type of idolatry which negates the actul jesus, aND UINDEED a private REALTIONSTHP WITH HIM this is merely available in the process the sacrametns.. It elavtes the bible to the sataus of God. certainly many call it the observe of god while if fact be told weknow that jesus is the observe of god and the bible is composed of the words of god.

Writers can be wrong, just so you know.
The word is actually oxy-moron. And, you know, however cool you think your variety sounds, the purpose of language is to communicate so, if the word you use makes no correct sense to those with whom you are trying to communicate, what's the point of bothering?
That's an oxymoron, by the way.

ak-si-mo'-ran with the first i being short and the accent on the third syllable.

Well, I say truely to each his/her own. Personally, I pronounce it oxy-moron b/c that is what I was taught and that is what I know. No diff. than tomato being pronounced either (toe-may-toe) or (toe-mah-toe).
