I rolled my Jeep in a major intersection and walked away from it. I was in terrible pain for a while at some points I didn't want to live because I was miserable in a job I hated and fired from another job right before that (Home Depot). My faith made me stronger. I now have a great job and pain free. Everything happens for a reason. I've even thought about sending the manager of that HD a thank you note.

The death of my son in 1984. I thought I could never live through such pain but I did and I know now that I am a stronger person and I hold my children closer and never let any time go by with out letting them know I love them.

When I found out a couple months ago, that my husband cheated on me with someone he worked with. We have been together for almost 5 years now, and he cheats on me. And I forgave him and gave him a second chance as he promised he would never do it again. I guess he found out really how much I loved him. And i guess you could say it almost killed me, but in the long run, it has made our relationship a bit better, and especially our love life.

My mother died when I was ten years old, leaving my father to raise five children by himself. He remarried two years later to a women that wanted nothing to do with the children from his previous marriage. He would eventually all but abandoned his children, speaking to one of us only one every year or two.
Fortunately I had solid male roll models in my two grandfathers who taught me about the importance of faith, family and a good work ethic. Today, I credit any degree of success I have enjoyed to my two of them and hope that they are proud of the man I have become.
