kobe is the biggest ball hog ever. he doesnt pass. same with AI when he was on the 6ers. its between lebron and wade on the east. arenas is close but not better than those 2. the most exciting though no question is vince carter. but the nets are sruggling due to injuries. on the west its T mac and dirk. dirk is 7 feet tall and is a great shooter. t mac is doing good this year too without very many people on his team

Y not kobe i mean he did score 81 points in a game he does average 30.0 to 40.0 points a game!!!!he is the all-star mvp of the NBA!!!! IT'S KOBE!!!!!!!!!! Lebron James is to over-rated he's good n all but when it comes down to the game being on the line he has never hit the clutch or game winning shot!!!!!!! D-Wade is the best of the east nad Kobe of the west

In the East is Lebron James.. I would have said Gilbert Arenas but he doesnt do all the intangables like King James but with seconds left on the clock I'm going to Hibachi. In the west you have to go with Kobe. Yeah he conceited but he has to be, Kobe is Hollywood. He wouldnt survive out there if he acted like Tim Duncan. You have to respect his game on the hardwood. Alot of people are going to say Nash but he plays no D......NONE besides the occasional flop!

Western Conference: Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas - the league's best player on the league's best team. You show me another 7-footer that can post up, slash & penetrate to the basket, grab 10 rebounds a game, block shots and shoot 40 percent in threes and maybe I'll think differently

Eastern Conference: Gilbert Arenas, Washington - Agent Zero is playing on an entirely different planet then the rest of they guys in this conference

Even though you don't like him, he's still the best in the West. (in the nba as well)

In the East? I guess I'd have to say wade. But only because I don't watch many teams in the East.

depends on what u classify BEST as....if u look at team records you probably wanna say the best playr on the best team. or u could say the best player is someone on a crap team but is doing well and in line for the play offs. in saying so i think you have to give the nod to players on good teams...

WEST - Dirk has matured and showed he is a lethal player. even though u dont like Kobe he has matured and led his team, so u have to credit him there

EAST - Wade has carried his team well and so too Lebron. they both make their team significantly better

Even though they never win, im going with Garnett for east as big man, prolly gilbert arenas for Guard.

Kobe is prolly skillwise the best, but not the intangables.?
Im going Mcgrady, he is carrying his team. Dirk is my somewhat big man, because his shot is so nasty right in ppls' eyes.

East - D-Wade
West - Kobe

Whether you like a player or not that should have no bearing on what you think about their basketball skills.
