My daughter is 5 months old and I breastfeed. I had a period 5 weeks after I had her and it lasted a normal 7 days. I got on the pill and I haven't had one since. Is this normal or is just because I'm still breastfeeding or b/c of the pill?

Most likely because you're breastfeeding. I breastfeed for 7 monthes and didn't get my period the whole time

With all 3 of my pregnancies, I didn't start my period until a month
or so after I quit breastfeeding. It was great! However, the old wives tale about not getting pg while breastfeeding, is not true.
I've heard several accounts of women getting pg while bf. Since you're on the pill, you're probably ok, but don't take my word for it.

Its probably a combination of the breast feeding and the pill. Some people skip their periods because of just one of the two.
