I was 7 days late on my period, and I have a had a very light one for 3 days. It's basically just been spotting. Other than that, i have had nausea, and some mild cramping. No appetite. I have heard it may be endometriosis, though im not farmilar with that. I am planning on going to a physican, but i just wanted to get an idea on what it could be from. Thanks!!!

I does not sound much like endometriosis. To the person above, a fever has NOTHING to do with endo and it is NOT an infection either. Please get your facts straight! Endometriosis is a condition in which the tissue that lines the inside of the uterus, grows outside the uterus and attaches to other organs in the abdominal cavity such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes. Your problem could be from anything from your diet to stress or anything else. Please read the link about endo. It will help you rule it out.

Stress can be major factor in how your body acts and changes. Also mild food poisoning can make you have no appetite and nausea. cramping you speak of.
With that said a through exam could also reveal endometriosis some early warning signs are what you are describing often times the pain radiates from the lower pelvic area.

I had the same symptons once...I was 20 days late and then had light spotting. Turned out I was pregnant but the fertilized egg did not attach itself...was implantation bleeding. Needless to say I had a normal period the next month. In a way it is like having a miscarriage I guess. But then again if the egg did not attach then I really was not pregnant yet.

If you have a fever then I would agree with endometrosis. I had that after my first baby but it is an infection so with no fever i would say you should take a pregnancy test.
