did 1979 Pontiac Trans Am have the word Pontiac etched in the lens that would light up when brakes applied ?

ie; when lights off the letering looks black and when the lights
were turned on the lettering lights up in red.

1979 thru 1981 Trans Ams had blacked-out tail lights that would appear red with the brakes applied. The word Pontiac was not etched into the tail lights.

You may be thinking of the mid 80s Fieros... Not the 79-81 birds

my 77 doesnt have anything like that,and ive never seen any 79 or 79-91 with tail like that.
