I've already visited the stay-at-home Mom websites, and I am just fed up with child-rearing, cooking, cleaning tip topics. I'm not looking for anything risky or inappropriate, but I am looking for some adult conversation that is safe, comfortable, and interesting. Any suggestions?

No chatroom is really safe as you'll always find the odd weirdo type. It depends on how efficient the moderators are at booting and banning people for inappropriate behaviour. Other than that, you just need to be tough and tell those with dubious intentions where to get off.

Good luck.

I would suggest to find a hobby to read about online. You could find message boards, which in my opinion are much better at bringing together people with common interests. I post sometimes on a New York Islander page and I have found some neat people to talk to that way. It's the Internet, so you are bound to find something that relates to an interest of yours. Good luck.

what about creating 360. you can browse around & pick friends to chat with. in this way, you'll always find subjects that you want to talk about.
