Sorry about the disgusting question but, Help! I need to get rid of the smell fast! How do I go about it? What causes it?

Try this, 1. Get in the Shower 2. Wash all over 3. Place towel and soap on pointer finger 4. Clean belly button accordingly

The smell is caused through soap or shower gell getting inside the belly button.
After washing you must make sure you dry in and around the belly botton thoroughly,after a while you should notice the smell dissapearing and the belly button will start to feel dry and not sticky.
But it wont stop smelling overnight,give it a few days.

I keep my pinky finger with a nail for a reason. It can extracate the most bothersome build-ups of human conception. Belly-button lint requires an instrument capable of careful extraction. This 'pinky' has perfect shape,form and dexterity to perform the job perfectly. I take pride in the fact that I can 'flick' this mass of manlyness well beyond the confines of my room. My invasions of hairy,goo into my neighbors teritory has built a horniness beyond description. They constantly inquire about my readiness,or insanity?

You belly button stinks because you probably don't wash it good enough. The lint comes from your clothes. You can't stop it.

what are you doing in the shower? hopping in and out? that needs to be cleaned along with the rest of your body. grab a washcloth with some soap and dig in that sucker and clean out that mess

You just have to wash it on a regular basis. That is one spot where a q tip won't hurt you.
