First off its Cowher, and Steeler diehards are always STEELER diehards!!!! No liking other teams, but I guess I do, The Steelers and whoever is playing the Ravens that week. It will be intersting to see how the Steelers do in the next few years with Tomlin as coach, longevity and loyalty are Steeler traditions and like you mentioned, hope it doesn't go by the wayside now. The Colts are the better team right now (this year anyway), thanks a lot to an ex Steeler, so you got to stay loyal to tradition and that is Steeler football!!!!
(would be interesting to see how Manning would have done if he went through what Roethlisberger did last season)

I can only guess, and hope, that English isn't your first language. Anyway, don't let us tell you who to root for, you make that decision on your own. Just remember, once you make that choice, that's it. No bandwagon jumping, which means, no claiming a team when they're winning, then dropping them for another if they start losing. So, if you want to root for the Colts, that's fine with me, if you want to join the Black and Gold family that is the Pittsburgh Steelers, welcome. Plus, be grateful that Cowher lasted as long as he did with us, most places he would have been fired at least by his fifth year without winning the Super Bowl.
You might also have to make a decision quick, because if it's one thing I can't stand it's when a person has too many teams. You are allowed to root for two teams on Sunday: your favorite (for me, the Steelers) and whoever is playing your most hated (for me, New England). Unless you have more than one least favorite team, but that's a discussion for another day.
Here's a tip though, if you're going to become a Pittsburgh fan, or a respectful fan of the NFL in general, please note the following spelling: S-T-E-E-L-E-R-S, C-O-W-H-E-R,
R-O-E-T-H-L-I-S-B-E-R-G-E-R (just stated because if you can't spell the first two, I know you'd totally botch this).
And why did you want to crawl out of your skin when ex-Steeler (and all around great guy) Tony Dungy became the Colts' Head Coach? Was there a reason that you didn't like him?
Cheers!

The Pittsburgh Steelers is by far the greatest franchise in sports history. 5-time Super Bowl champs, two coaches in a 30 year period. When they draft someone they stick with them and win. No high salary free agents. When they won Super Bowl XL, 19 of their 22 starters were original draft picks of the Steel City. Plus, they haven't moved the team since the 30's or 40's. Chuck Noll and Bill Cowher are two of the all-time greatest coaches. No other team compares. A true blue collar team, all the way up to their owner, Art Rooney. I predict another Championship in the near future.

i don't understand the coolest judgment of last unswerving to a team as quickly as they go away your city. perchance iff the city made unreasonable calls for of the franchise yet in many situations this situation is the alternative (franchise wanting a clean publically funded stadium) I even have been by way of this interior the NFL. In 1988 the Cardinals left St. Louis to bypass to Phoenix. i finished being a Cardinal fan. until St. Louis have been given yet another soccer team I watched Joe Montana and the Chiefs and Packers too. In 1995 the Rams moved to St. Louis and that i've got been following them provided that.

I think cower is the better coach of the two but colts have the better QB. Steelers have the better RB but Addai is creeping up on parker. colts have a slight edge in wide recievers but steelers are slightly behind. I say colts have the slight edge on offense but are much behind on defense...therefore steelers are a better team within the last decade

Maybe you will accept more than what you wanted here. Its btw Pitt and Indy for real but ask yourself from the NFC if St Louis gets a defense or the Giants get it together or the Bears add a few players are they that much removed from the AFC. My guess is Indy because Pitt no longer has Bettis. And Peyton rules!

frist of all, u cant spell to save ur life. second im a BIG steelers fan, and u spell it COWHER!!! third, steelers r the better team. they killed the colts last yr in the playoffs and just because colts won this yr doesnt make them a better team. in 2 or 3 yrs, colts wont even be in the playoffs, they will lose marvin harrison and many of their other starters on defense.

Franchises have one goal in the NFL. "Win the Superbowl!" If you judge both teams by this standard then the Steelers are the better team. They have more Superbowl wins.
