A card from the post definitely! There's always magic and much love that comes with it for me. Although e-card is the trend right now and fastest way to show you care and remember them(whoever) but to take more effort to send a card by post to someone brings much joy and appreciation.

Card through the post if it's one from someone very dear, the card itself carries well thought out personal message. The E-cards are all too much the same, especially the ones with the canned one liner as the message.

Through the post - definitely!

Understand that this day and age people are too busy, but to receive a card which has been hand picked, hand written, posted in definitely more personal and sentimental. Just to know someone has taken the time and effort to do it means a lot more, than an ecard!

I would prefer a card through the post
it's more personal and it shows that the person took more time than just choosing a random e-card and adding a few words

Well personally, I don't mind recieving the e cards. It still requires that someone thinks of you on a special day, and I'm not so much into ppl spending money on me. But in my experience (like when I send e cards to other people) ppl who are special to you should get an actual card, that you picked out and scrawled your name in. My mom gets irked when I send her e cards, and asked for the real thing next time. "Okay Mom." Geez, I was taught it was the thought that counts...who taught me that again?

I enjoy getting cards through the mail. My mom still sends me cards! I like the idea of actually holding on to something. It is more exciting to me.
